At SBS, we’re proud to be part of All4Zero — a revolutionary innovation hub focused on industrial decarbonization.

Committed to sustainability, we see technological innovation as our greatest ally in the journey towards a low-emission future. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been selected to participate in this transformative initiative.

All4Zero: A Collaborative Hub to Achieve Net-Zero Emissions by 2050

All4Zero was born from a shared goal: to reach net-zero emissions by 2050. This ambition has united ArcelorMittal, Holcim, Iberia and Repsol to create Spain’s first collaborative hub of its kind. Its mission is to drive circular economy practices and accelerate industrial decarbonization. To that end, 12 companies offering disruptive technological solutions have been selected to take part.

Key Technological Challenges

    1. Efficient carbon capture and emission reduction at the source and in the atmosphere.
    2. Sustainable water use in industry through alternative sources and treated water reuse.
    3. Cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the production of renewable hydrogen.
    4. Production of SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) and other renewable fuels, alongside efficient CO₂ mineralization.
    5. Waste valorization to develop solutions that promote circularity and sustainability.

HECO Technology: Accelerated Mineralization with Positive Impact

HECO technology is one of the selected solutions to address a key challenge identified by the hub. Through accelerated CO₂ mineralization, it enables carbon capture and storage while simultaneously allowing the production of new materials.

These sustainable materials — including construction elements, fertilizers, and renewable fuels — represent significant progress not only for decarbonization, but also for reducing dependence on virgin raw materials. The technology also stands out for its secure carbon storage capabilities, preventing the re-release of CO₂ into the atmosphere.

In short, this technology not only reduces emissions — it transforms industrial waste into valuable resources, cutting down on the need for virgin raw materials and driving a truly circular economy.

The First Proof of Concept Begins

SBS, together with ArcelorMittal, Holcim, and Magna, is kicking off the first proof of concept. In line with the goals of industrial decarbonization, SBS will provide its technology to capture and mineralize CO₂ efficiently.

At SBS, we believe the future isn’t something to wait for — it’s something to design. And with HECO technology, we’re laying the foundations for a decarbonized, circular, and resilient industrial future.
